Root Inward is a studio centering small-batch objects, design, and tarot as tools for looking inward. Root Inward is a reader-supported publication with a spiritual lens on artist process, daily practice, and guided support. This space provides protection from quickness, from artistry as production, and uses an anticapitalist lens to approach world-building alternatives for community.

Root Inward is founded by Meredith White — a queer, nonbinary, and neurodivergent facilitator based in Atlanta, GA. They have been working at the intersection of art, spirituality, and embodiment since 2015. This work has shown up through the creation of quilts, candles, sweatshirts, woodcuts, billboards, and illustrative services.

Root Inward is a reader-supported publication and provides a bi-monthly newsletter. The paid subscription is $6 a month — think of it like a cup of coffee. This tier provides a monthly newsletter with a playlist, tarot card of the month, and reckonings to bring into the next lunar cycle. This tier provides direct financial sustenance for this practice.
